Yokan nagaya
Built in 1908 (meiji 41), the building's hipped roof, clapboard siding and white oil-painted exterior are typical of the architectural style of kobe's foreign-style houses of the time. the western-style building was once an apartment building for foreigners living in two households, and consists of two buildings arranged symmetrically with their entrances facing each other. the first floor of the building is modeled after the south of provence in france, and visitors can enjoy art nouveau crafts and elegant interiors. the second floor is like a unique gallery, with each room giving a different impression. it's a popular spot for instagrammers.
