Ibaraki city christian relics museum
This historical museum is located in the senjiji area, famous as the "hidden christian village." it introduces the history of christians who continued to practice their faith secretly in this area even after christianity was banned by the edo shogunate. relics on display, such as the "wooden crucifixion of christ" and the "15 mysteries of mary," are valuable in tracing the path of christianity's spread in japan. please note that there are few buses to the nearest bus stop, so please be careful when accessing by bus.
