Former ibaraki river green space
The 5km-long ibaraki river, abandoned in 1949, has been redeveloped as a green belt. you can enjoy a variety of seasonal scenery, including rows of cherry trees along the promenade, a white sand and green pine corner with pine trees, a plum orchard, and an olive grove. in recent years, a redesign project has been underway to address the increase in old trees and deterioration of facilities. after redevelopment with consideration for pedestrian safety, the area has been reborn as a space that can be used more actively as a place to relax and for events.
