Expo commemoration park
The park was developed on the site of the japan world expo (osaka expo) held in 1970. the two areas, the natural and cultural gardens and the japanese garden, are packed with attractions, including playground equipment that both children and adults can enjoy, and the expo'70 pavilion, where you can experience the excitement of the osaka expo through exhibits and videos. the park's symbol, the tower of the sun, has been open to the public since 2018, and reservations can be made in advance (same-day tickets can be purchased if there are vacancies). there are also shops and cafes within the park.
