Located on the approach to kiyoharajin shrine, this long-established store has been in business for over 70 years. they sell handmade, additive-free monaka with homemade bean paste. the "yuzu monaka" is filled with white bean paste made with yuzu from shikoku, while the "tsubuan monaka" is filled with plenty of tsubuan bean paste made from dainagon beans from hokkaido. the light and fluffy monaka skin blends with the moist bean paste to create an exquisite taste. they are perfect not only for home use, but also as a small gift or as an offering for funerals and memorial services.
