Ikeda castle ruins park
The park was developed on the former site of the castle of the local clan, the ikeda clan, who ruled the ikeda area from the muromachi period to the sengoku period. the park is dotted with a relic reconstruction zone that displays replicas of wells and cornerstones, a quaint teahouse, and a tower-style observation rest house with a view of satsukiyama and the big harp. another highlight is the seasonal scenery, with cherry blossoms, plum blossoms, white lilies, and irises in full bloom. information on the best time to see the flowers and events is posted on the official instagram.
