This city park was created by filling in a river, and is currently undergoing expansion work along with environmental improvement. the park has a multi-purpose plaza and exercise equipment, making it a great place for people of all ages. the konohana ward office has also been working on the shorenjigawa park art project, which has been installing over 100 art pieces over the years, and the first of these, "konohana water dragon," has just been unveiled in the park. it has been attracting attention as it was produced by okada junichi and created by artist komatsu miu.
