Tano museum
This museum was established at the tano ruins, a nationally designated historic site and former settlement site of the yayoi period. in addition to dwellings, the museum attracted attention when a wooden coffin from the yayoi period was discovered for the first time. the permanent exhibition room in the museum introduces life in the yayoi period using panels and models, focusing on relics excavated from the ruins. outside, there are also reconstructions of a circular flatland dwelling, a square pit dwelling, and a raised-floor storehouse. you can enter the dwellings, so get a feel for the structure and size of a yayoi-period home.
