This art museum is surrounded by the beautiful nature of kabutoyama, a 20-minute drive from arima onsen. it displays large ivory works such as "himeji castle" and "treasure ship," as well as ivory sculptures with motifs of the virgin mary and "the last supper," a 1/10 scale model of the nikko toshogu shrine building, and a "terracotta warriors (replica)." in addition, the museum displays a wide variety of approximately 500 pieces, including ceramics, bronzeware, calligraphy by statesmen from the late edo and meiji periods, japanese paintings, and ukiyo-e.
