Chikamatsu park
This park is a japanese garden-style strolling area where you can enjoy a stroll. in spring, plum and cherry blossoms bloom, and in early summer, irises bloom around the pond, attracting many visitors. the park is also notable for its bronze statue of chikamatsu monzaemon, known as the creator of bunraku puppet theater and kabuki plays. this area is known as "chikamatsu no sato" (chikamatsu village), and is adjacent to kosai-ji temple, where chikamatsu's grave is located, and the chikamatsu memorial museum, which displays related materials, making it a zone where you can experience history and culture.
