Since its establishment in 1945, the shop has been providing japanese sweets that value handmade flavors, using carefully selected ingredients, traditional and new techniques, and seasonal tastes. the specialty is "hiyashi shiratama shiruko" (limited sale from late march to november) made with homemade smooth bean paste. this popular item is a smooth red bean paste with soft, melt-in-your-mouth shiratama. the baseball-shaped japanese sweet "kyuen" is also popular as a souvenir unique to koshien.
