Arima japanese sweets workshop
This shop is run by the long-established mitsumori honpo and has an attached workshop. carbonated rice crackers were first produced and sold by the founder, mitsu shigematsu, at the end of the meiji period, using the carbonated spring waters of arima onsen. from the storefront, you can watch craftsmen making japanese sweets in the glass-walled workshop, and enjoy piping hot "sake manju" and crispy, freshly fried "karinto manju." there is also a rest area, so it's a great place to take a break and relax.
