Fukujuen, founded in 1790, has developed the concept of "encountering new teas." the building has one basement floor and nine aboveground floors, allowing you to experience the charms of tea from various angles. in addition to the sales floor, which includes "kyoto tea shop," which stocks high-quality uji tea original to the kyoto main store, there is also a cafe where you can enjoy pairing tea with sweets, and a french restaurant that uses tea. we also recommend the custom-made uji tea experience and the tea ceremony experience at the teahouse "muryōan."
