This japanese sweets specialty shop was founded in 1921. now run by the fourth generation, they handcraft kyoto sweets based on traditional techniques and flavors, incorporating new ideas that are in line with the times. they stock adorable specialty sweets such as "urinko," a wafer-shaped monaka (a type of japanese sweet wafer) in the shape of a boar's cub, and "chobo," a dried confectionery made from wasanbon sugar that resembles a small, pouting mouth, as well as many fresh seasonal sweets. the delicate flavors, which are carefully selected to melt in your mouth, make them the perfect accompaniment to tea.
