Toyonaka city local history museum
The facility is scheduled to open in november 2022 as a facility for preserving and utilizing important materials for learning about the history and cultural and natural changes of toyonaka city. it has a permanent exhibit that shows the changes from prehistoric times to the present, when the machikane crocodile, the first crocodile bone fossil discovered in japan, was alive in toyonaka city, and it also holds special exhibitions several times a year. in addition, there are plenty of lectures, tours of historical sites, and hands-on learning for children. take your time to unravel the history of the area that you may think you know, but don't.
