This park was developed on the site of takatsuki castle, which once stood here. the southern area, watched over by a stone statue of takayama ukon, the lord of takatsuki castle, features a zone centered around stone walls and a pond that mimic the castle's moat, creating an atmosphere reminiscent of a japanese garden. the plaza is equipped with a variety of play equipment that can be enjoyed by children of all ages, including an octopus-shaped slide and a tarzan rope. there is also a traffic park where you can learn about traffic rules, and a history and folklore museum, making it a place of relaxation for people of all ages.
