Stamp museum
This museum collects stamps, also known as "small works of art." starting with the first stamp issued in japan, the "dragon design stamp," there is a permanent exhibition of about 3,000 stamps issued to date, sorted by chronology and type. in addition, there are also exhibits of valuable items and documents that trace the history of postal service, such as a shoulder box used by postal workers during the meiji period and an octagonal clock that kept time in post offices. there is also a shop inside the museum that sells stamp-themed goods, so be sure to stop by.
