Mount minoo ryuanji temple
Minoh's buddhist temple is the oldest in japan, and enshrines benzaiten. it is crowded with worshippers throughout the year, praying for financial luck, improvement in performing arts, and protection from disasters. it is also known as the birthplace of the lottery, and the autumn festival "minoh tomi" held every year on october 10th is a traditional event that has been held for 400 years. if you purchase a mini daifuku charm on the day and find a "winner", you will be given a special charm that is said to bring good luck and health.
