They sell japanese and western-style sweets with anko as the theme. at the attached cafe, you can enjoy sweets made with homemade anko along with uji tea and specialty coffee. we recommend the "annon sanpo-ka" which is a menu item only available at the cafe. it is a great value dish that includes "anpone", a famous sweet with carefully selected bean paste and homemade cheese cream sandwiched between two pieces of mochi, and a different sweet each month. please enjoy a delicious time in a relaxing japanese space renovated from a kyoto townhouse.
