Koto bairin
This area is now a high-end residential district, but it was once covered with orchards. the plum grove is a remnant of that time. in 1884, shibakawa mataemon, a successful trading merchant, planted plums, cherries, maples, and camphor trees in this area along with fruit trees, and many of the trees that remain today are over 100 years old. approximately 200 plum trees of 36 varieties collected from all over japan, with their diverse colors and shapes, add color to the area during the season.
