Minoo great waterfall
Minoh falls is 33 meters high. the sight of the water cascading down the cliff face with a roaring roar is truly a magnificent work of water art. it feels like your soul is being cleansed. the name minoh comes from the fact that the shape of the waterfall, falling from between the trees, resembles a "mino" (a type of basket). it is also said that en no gyoja performed ascetic practices at this waterfall before founding takiyasu-ji temple.
