Kawasaki toshogu shrine ruins
Built after the battle of osaka in the summer of 1615 by matsudaira tadaakira, who became the lord of osaka castle, this shrine is one of over 500 toshogu shrines built throughout japan. while it enshrines ieyasu as toshodai gongen, it is also said to have been intended to dispel the longing of the people of osaka for the toyotomi clan.
