Mukogawa women's university koshien hall (formerly koshien hotel)
Completed in 1930 as the koshien hotel, it later served as a naval hospital and us military officers' quarters before being acquired by mukogawa gakuin in 1965 and repurposed as an educational facility. once considered one of the two most prestigious hotels in japan, alongside the imperial hotel in the east, it was a thriving high-class social hub in the hanshin area. it is one of the few remaining frank lloyd wright-style buildings in japan and is registered as a national modern industrial heritage site and a registered tangible cultural property. advance reservations are required for visits. please see the website for details. official url: https://www.mukogawa-u.ac.jp/~kkcampus/
