Shonai shrine
The shrine's origins date back to 1906, when an imperial decree consolidated seven shrines that had been enshrined in each of the villages of shonai village, and named them shonai shrine. it was moved to its current location in october 1912 and is widely revered as the principal tutelary shrine of the shonai area.
