Zuirinji temple
Originally the temple of harada shrine, it was destroyed by fire during wartime and rebuilt as a branch temple of manpuku-ji temple of the obaku sect. the chinese-style temple gate is eye-catching. in addition to the seated statue of yakushi nyorai, the principal image of the temple which is a designated tangible cultural property of the city, the temple grounds also contain the graves of the monk shōtei, who is said to be the son of ikkyū sōjun, and the haiku poet seigin, a disciple of ihara saikaku.
