This shrine is dedicated to kurehatori, the ancestor of weaving and sewing. according to legend, during the reign of emperor ojin, kurehatori, a weaver who came from the country of wu, arrived in this area and spread weaving and sewing techniques to the world. it is also known as the shrine where ebisu, one of the seven lucky gods of the hankyu railway line, is enshrined.
