This is a keyhole-shaped burial mound from the early kofun period (mid-4th century) located at the southern foot of mt. satsuki. while it is only about 60 meters long, some unusual haniwa (clay figures) have been unearthed from it. these haniwa are on display at the historical and folk museum.
