It is located on a slope commonly known as "mannen-zaka" on the way from hibarigaoka to manganji temple. this stone buddha is a work from the late kamakura period and is one of only a dozen or so rock-carved buddhas in hyogo prefecture. a lotus pedestal is carved into the lower part of a natural granite rock, and a relief of a standing jizo statue is carved on top of it.
