This shrine is located along the old nakayama highway, also known as the pilgrimage route. it is a small shrine built in the kasuga style with a cypress bark roof, and enshrines sugawara no michizane. adjacent to it is the shoichii inari daimyojin shrine, and there is a stone called "gyoki's throwing stone," which is said to have been thrown away by gyoki when he passed through this area long ago, to clear the way for travelers.
