Two massive rocks block the path to the waterfall. legend has it that long ago, an envoy from tang china heard of the reputation of minoh falls and traveled to these rocks in a palanquin, but was so frightened by the treacherous mountain path that he turned back. these rocks were then named tojin modori-iwa (chinese envoy's return rock).
