Ise temple
Kongosan shoo-kutsu is a temple belonging to the soto zen sect, with the holy kannon as its principal deity. it is said to have been built on the site of the hermitage where ise-hime, a female poet of the mid-heian period and one of the thirty-six immortal poets, spent her later years, and the ise mausoleum stands to the west of the main hall. the ancient monument beside the mausoleum is the "ise-hime commemorative monument," erected by nagai naokiyo, the lord of takatsuki castle, with an inscription written by hayashi razan.
