Mishimaehama ruins
Mishimaehama, along with karasakihama to the north, flourished as a river port where yodogawa cargo ships (cargo ships permitted to operate exclusively on the yodogawa river) connecting osaka and fushimi came and went. at the time, its beauty was celebrated in waka poetry, and even today, the myoken lantern evokes memories of that era.
