Fukuda temple
Fukuda-ji temple, the head temple of the shingon shōten sect, is said to have been founded in the nara period (about 1300 years ago) by en no gyōja on mount ikoma in nara prefecture. it was moved to its current location from kuragari pass in ikoma in 1915. the principal deity is daishō kangiten, a god that appears in ancient indian mythology. it is also known as sonoda shōten and yakuyoke daishi (great master of厄除け).
