Manshu-in temple
Manshuin temple, a tendai sect temple that dates back to the heian period, is a monzeki temple (a temple whose head priest is a member of the imperial family) known for its beautiful autumn foliage. built by prince yoshinao, son of prince hachijo-no-miya tomohito, who built the katsura imperial villa, it is a place of beauty where the contrast between the simple architecture and the elegant gardens is striking.
