In a corner of the grounds of honchoji temple are the grave and memorial monument of osaka-born poet tatsuji miyoshi (1900-1964). the tatsuji miyoshi memorial museum was built in 1976 by his family to commemorate the 13th anniversary of his death. the museum displays manuscripts, letters, photographs, first editions, and his favorite sake cups and tea bowls.
