A museum showcasing exquisite art embroidery and a variety of hands-on experiences. this unique tourist facility combines a museum displaying numerous delicate art embroidery works that highlight the skills of artisans, a workshop where you can try making kyoto sweets and other items, and a restaurant (reservations required). more than 15 hands-on experiences are available, from making raw yatsuhashi and nerikiri from scratch, to making tofu and kyoto shichimi spice, and hand-painted yuzen dyeing. the shop also features a direct sales outlet for exquisite art embroidery and a variety of yatsuhashi that can only be purchased here, as well as a shop selling homemade sweets. *a free pick-up service is available for customers participating in experiences or dining.
