This shop is located on the approach to mondoyakujin tokoji temple. their specialty is "yakuyoke manju" (amulet buns), which are made with hokkaido-grown adzuki beans, filled with fluffy tsubuan (sweet red bean paste) and wrapped in a moist dough. during busy seasons, freshly made, warm buns are continuously brought out to the storefront from the kitchen at the back of the shop. from january, they also offer limited-time items such as "kusamochi (rice cakes with mugwort), karinto manju (fried dough buns), sake manju (steamed buns with sake), and brown sugar manju (steamed buns with brown sugar), which are popular with temple visitors.
