Kobe gokoku shrine, hyogo prefecture
It is one of the 52 designated gokoku shrines located throughout japan. the cherry trees planted to comfort the spirits of the war dead are a popular spot for cherry blossom viewing among locals. many worshippers visit the shrine for events such as the cherry blossom festival, the mitama festival, and the spring and autumn memorial services.
