Takarazuka city hall
The main building of the takarazuka city hall, built on a site overlooking the mukogawa river to the northeast, was designed by togo murano, a renowned architect residing in the city. completed in 1980, it was conceived as a city hall with a distinctive takarazuka character, embodying a concept of "modern yet somewhat classical expression." the main building, with its towering, crown-like cylindrical section used as the assembly hall and balconies surrounding the building, evokes the dignified classical architecture of europe and has become a local landmark. another noteworthy area within the city hall is the civic hall, located in the center of the l-shaped building. from the chandeliers hanging from the ceiling to the reddish-brown stoneware tiles on the walls and the light-colored marble laid on the floor, elements that demonstrate murano's meticulous attention to detail can be seen throughout.
