This is a sacred shrine located in a forest designated as a natural monument, the only sacred site at the foot of the eastern rokko mountains. the main deity is ebisu-no-okami (for business prosperity), and behind the main hall, on the large sacred rock "koshikiwa," resides ichikishima-hime-no-okami, who is worshipped as the protector of women, especially as the goddess of safe childbirth and fertility, and is also deeply revered as the goddess to pray for the healthy growth of children and improvement in performing arts. a "crying sumo" event is held as part of the autumn grand festival.
