Konyoike park, famous as one of kansai's premier birdwatching havens, is about a 10-minute bus ride from itami station on the itami city bus, and a short walk from the matsugaoka bus stop. from the observation deck, you can carefully observe the numerous migratory birds that visit the park throughout the seasons. across the pond is the itami city insectarium, home to many rare insects.
