On the large, gently sloping grassy area, time seems to flow slowly and peacefully, with people sitting and reading books, listening to the radio, and small children happily rolling a ball around. this park also features art installations adorned with flowers, and a soothing breeze blows through it. on the north side of the park is a wooden pedestrian bridge with uniquely designed piers. at the southern end of the park, facing the sea, is the hat kobe harbor walk.
